ITT Technical institute is shutting down 130 of its U.S. campuses

ITT Technical institute is shutting down 130 of its U.S. campuses as a result of federal sanctions by the U.S. Department of Education.  The chain was banned from enrolling new students who used federal financial aid.  The department also ordered ITT to pay $152 million to cover student refunds and other liabilities.
