What does this mean to you? AM Best is an independent third-party credit rating agency that specializes in assessing the creditworthiness of insurance companies. They use both qualitative and quantitative measures to assess an insurance company’s ability to pay claims and meet its financial obligations. Receiving an A Excellent Rating is the second-highest rating we could achieve, meaning Oxford has maintained a strong balance sheet, operating performance, business profile, and claims obligations.
