Passing of Oxford’s Dear Friend, Richard (Dick) Goff

It is with our heavy hearts, Oxford announces the passing of our dear friend, Richard C. (Dick) Goff.  Dick was the Managing Director of The Taft Companies, part of Oxford’s Best-in-Class Service Providers, who maintains offices in Maryland, Bermuda, Montana, South Carolina, and Washington, D.C.

Well-respected among State Regulators, insurers, industry associations and clients, Dick served on the board of directors of the Self-Insurance Institute of America, the Captive Insurance Council of the District of Columbia, the Montana Captive Insurance Associations, and the South Carolina Captive Association.

Mary Claire Goff, wife, best friend, business partner and Senior Vice President of the Taft Companies, said “Dick so loved our industry and was blessed with the ability to share, mentor and support our industry with all his heart. He will be missed for sure.”

Oxford would like to take a moment to celebrate Dick’s professional accomplishments, as well as his passion for life and ability to light up the room.  He was loved by all and will be missed greatly.

In celebration of Dick’s life, his family invites memorial gifts to Gallant Chance Ranch, a non-profit organization for at-risk youth, may be mailed to Gallant Chance Ranch, 1097 W. Dry Creek Road, Belgrade, MT 59714.
