Glen Cove Mayor Reginald Spinella has said that officials in the New York town are in the beginning of eminent domain proceedings against residents, an asphalt company and a real estate holding organization. The area in question is a proposed site for apartments, condos, retail and park space that the mayor feels will generate revenue for the city.
